Does my dad have a say in this if i'm 18?

So one of my friends invited me to go on a trip with her & her family soon. I'm 18, so i could even move out if i wanted, right? Nope. I was just talking to my mom about it & he butted in saying no & "didnt she get in trouble with authorities??". She never did and if none of my friends have ever gotten in trouble with the law. If they did i'd know since theyre MY friends. Im sick of him trying to control my every move even though im legally an adult! I wouldnt even need a car since id just be riding with them. Besides, i just graduated so is it that bad that i want to have a little fun this summer?
